The lovely Kristy at Book Nerd Reviews tagged me to tell you about myself by answering the twenty questions below. Here we go!
How tall are you?
Extremely vertically challenged. I’m usually 5’0″, but can go down to 4′ 11 3/4″ on a bad day.
Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what?
Hidden? Well, I have a decent singing voice, and my writing doesn’t suck too much. But I don’t think those two things are hidden…
What’s your biggest blog related pet peeve?
Cover reveals. I just don’t care about cover reveals. But I do love sneak peeks of actual writing. Hope those of you that do cover reveals aren’t offended. I still love your blogs, I just don’t visit on cover reveal days.
What’s your biggest non blog related pet peeve?
Being cut off in traffic, especially when my son is in the car with me.
What’s your favorite song?
Um. There are quite a few. Heavy in Your Arms by Florence and the Machine. 22 by Lily Allen. The entire Tangled soundtrack (I know!). And now I’m blanking as to any others.
What’s your favorite Etsy shop that isn’t yours?
I don’t shop on Etsy much, but I did used to love Cut Out and Collect.
What’s your favorite way to spend your free time when you’re alone?
Reading while sitting outside (when Houston humidity allows).
What’s your favorite junk food?
Ice cream cake (homemade by my bestie).
Do you have a pet or pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?
A Miniature Pinscher named Birdie.
What are your number one favorite nonfiction and fiction books?
Oh, geez. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon for fiction, and blanking on nonfiction.
What’s your favorite beauty product?
Lipstick. No question.
When were you last embarrassed? What happened?
Geez, several times most days? These are tough questions to be answering so early in the morning.
If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Caffeine Free Diet Coke (I’d die young, so what?)
What’s your favorite movie?
Who came up with these questions?! Um. I’m going to go with Armageddon. I never tire of watching it.
What were you in high school: Prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist?
Probably nerd. I got straight-A’s (except for a Pre-Calculus B+) and was on the Debate Team. But I was also in the choir and Thespian Society, so maybe a little artist? I ran track one year, but I never qualified as a jock. Can a girl be a jock?
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
London. But only if i had oodles of money.
PC or Mac?
PC. I refuse to help Apple take over the world.
Last romantic gesture from a boyfriend?
Well, I’m married, so let’s go with husband. Maybe doesn’t qualify as romantic, but last night my back hurt and he entertained our son while I spent almost an hour in the bath.
Diana Gabaldon. Does she count? Most of the people I’d love to meet are writers. Other celebrities are so transient.
What blogger do you secretly want to be best friends with?
There are four. Julie from Chapter Break (amazing content), Ashley from Nose Graze (the fact that her book blog feature uses “bitchin'” in the title), Carmel from Rabid Reads (detailed reviews that open my reading horizons), and Rachel from Parajunkee (snarktastic).
Now I tag:
